I work with young people and adults aged 18 upwards, including those who are autistic and neurodivergent. My approach is affirming, respectful and tailored to each person's unique needs.
I am accredited therapist working primarily with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). These evidence-based approaches focus on understanding patterns of thinking, emotions and behaviour, and on building practical skills to support emotional regulation, coping and wellbeing.
My work is flexible and collaborative, and these models are adapted to suit each individual, including autistic and neurodivergent clients. Adjustments may be made to communication style, handouts, pace, structure and sensory needs to ensure therapy is accessible, respectiful and effective.
The first session is space to talk about what brings you to therapy, ask questions and get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit. The next few sessions are dedicated to drawing up a formulation/map of your problem and build a therapeutic relationship. Treatment will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My fees per session are £90 face to face, £80 online. I accept BUPA, Aviva and Vitality insurance and these fees are set by the insurance companies based on my accreditations. Please get in contact to discuss it further.
Most clients prefer face to face appointments because taking a step away from the busyness of life adds to the therapeutic experience. I work in a lovely clinic called The Treatment Hub which every client compliments. The Treatment Hub is on London Road, at the top of town in Basingstoke. It has easy transport links and several neighbouring car parks.
I require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This is to ensure I can balance by diary and room bookings. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged in full.
